Join us atop the high Battery for this annual event hosted by HCF's PreserVISIONist Membership group! Mix and mingle with fellow young professionals passionate about Charleston's preservation with unlimited oysters, chili, beer & wine, and live music. Back for its fourth year, join us for Oysters by the Battery at the Foundation's headquarters, the Captain James Missroon House, c.1808.
All proceeds benefit the Foundation and its mission-driven work as we head into 2026. A perennial favorite, we look forward to hosting you!

All tickets include oysters, chili, and a selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- You may purchase tickets online or call the ticket office at (843)722-3405. Advance sales only.
- Event is for adults aged 21+.
- This is a rain or shine event.
- No refunds.
- No pets.
- Street parking available around 40 East Bay. PLEASE NOTE: event parking is not permitted at the Yacht Club and will not be available at the Capt. James Missroon House. We encourage ride share!
Ticket Prices:
- Current Members (CURRENT PreserVISIONists): $60 per person
$60 rate will only be validated for members who are currently* enrolled PreserVISIONists.
- Current Couple members receive $60 rate on two tickets.
- Current Single members receive $60 rate on one ticket.
- Non-members: $75 per person
