A native of Awendaw, SC, Charlton Singleton is the founding member of the Grammy award-winning ensemble, Ranky Tanky, a quintet that interprets the sounds of Gullah from the Lowcountry. In 2017 Ranky Tanky reached the top of the Billboard charts with their self-titled album followed by a Grammy Award for “Best Regional Roots Album” in 2019. As a performer, Charlton leads his own ensembles that vary in size and style. For the 2024 Festival, Charleton is back "home" in the Holy City with an eight-piece ensemble at the historic Riviera Theater.

* Save your email confirmation to show for admission to your events+. It is automatically sent upon completion of your order. It may land in your junk, spam, or promotions folder if not in your inbox. (+TOUR ticketholders will need to retrieve TOUR maps and credentials from the ticket office. Email confirmations do not admit ticketholders to properties on tour.)
* Ticket office location has moved to The Charleston Visitor Center, 375 Meeting Street, and will open to the public on Monday, March 11, 2024.
